Yoga Class Descriptions
At MARUKA Yoga & Healing, we believe “...there is no one way of yoga, there are countless ways, and the best way is to find your way!” With this credo, we build flexibility into our classes for each student to explore their inner expression. You wont find “freestyle” or “fusion”, and we prefer “Vinyasa” to “flow”. Our program is built on the Ashtanga (8 Limbs) of Yoga, and classes are coded as (G)entle, (M)oderate and (V)igorous.
Whether a novice or experienced, all are welcome to discover the benefits of each discipline to find the right path for you. For those new to yoga, valuable tips can be found at New to Yoga or Maruka? For class rates and schedule, see Rates and Passes and Daily Class Schedule.
