Carolyn Shinsato, E-RYT
Carolyn Shinsato, E-RYT, is an experienced registered yoga teacher with over 1,000 hours of teaching experience. She is a certified Pranassage Practitioner from the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica. You can learn more about Carolyn at lifebodyyoga.com.
Matsimela Ajani
Matsimela is a disciplined practitioner of body science, with degrees in martial arts, reflexology, and a 200 hour yoga teacher certification in the Sivananda tradition. His classes are influenced and infused with his various practices and training for a more holistic and challenging approach to yoga.
Shannon Tomac
Shannon was formally trained in California-based YogaFit and Sivananda. Her rural background and boundless creativity lends itself to a gentle, hands-on teaching style appropriate for all levels, where each class develops its own unique dynamic.
Esther Holimon (Christian Meditation)
Esther Holimon is an ordained Minister in the United Methodist Church and a graduate of the Howard University School of Divinity. She leads a Christian adaption of Eastern meditation practices with inspirational conversation and instruction. Each session is designed to help you focus on your spiritual journey toward inner peace. No experience necessary and open to all.
Karen Malkin, RM (Usui Reiki)
Karen Malkin is a certified Reiki Master (2008) and has volunteered as a reiki practitioner at the George Washington University Hospital Psychiatic Department since 2007. She continues to find new ways to intergrate reiki and other energetic healing practices in her daily life, and enjoys sharing these practices with others.
