Reiki Classes
Reiki is a healing technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Reiki is administered by "laying on hands." It is safe, gentle, and non-invasive and can be learned by anyone. Reiki is a Japanese word-- “Rei” refers to the wisdom of your higher self (or spiritual consciousness), and “Ki” refers to the life energy, (same as “chi” in Chinese or “prana” in Sanskrit.) Reiki is passed on from teacher to student by the process of attunement. The Reiki energy begins to flow as soon as the student is initiated. We offer certification on Usui and Karuna Reiki, and Maruka will sponsor one scholarship for each (see below for details). Pre-registration is required. Usui Reiki (Fee $150 - $375 (includes class manual))
The Usui Reiki method of natural healing, involves three levels. Each level requires its own set of attunements, and Reiki initiations are for life.
- Level 1 Reiki connects the practitioner to the Reiki channel
- Level II Reiki teaches the practitioner long distance or remote healing
- Level III Reiki initiates the practitioner to become a Reiki Master and teacher

**The Reiki Informational Session is a *FREE* 1-hour talk with Master Reiki Teacher Luann Jacobs. Luann will provide information about the healing art of Reiki--what Reiki is, and how it is applied--as well as a general understanding of the practice. This talk is highly recommended for those that will attend the Reiki Level I training.
