MARUKA GALLERY MISSION STATEMENT

The MARUKA Gallery seeks to promote the Caribbean and American artist community by providing an alternative space for established and emerging artists and talented students to meet, exchange ideas, exhibit their work, and interact with discerning collectors and the public.

Maruka especially welcomes work by artists with a Caribbean heritage whether living in the USA, Caribbean, or abroad, with special attention paid to the thematic quality and technical competence of the work.

By showcasing the heritage and work emerging from cultural arenas as diverse as the Unitrd States and the Caribbean, we hope to promote a dialogue between artists and viewers to recognize and re-affirm the universal appreciation of presentations in the Creative Arts.
