The Founders of MARUKA
Co-founders Debra Agostini and Keith Kaye committed and intertwined their paths long ago on their search for physical, mental, and spiritual health. Although Debra is the visionary and driving engine of the holistic concept behind Maruka, they both are deeply committed to the ideals of the project.
Through many years of self-study, both Debra and Keith believe in the natural healing power of the self, and they promote the yoga and meditation program at Maruka as a gateway to the greater healing arts.
Debra and Keith's original connection, coincidentally, was their love for fashion as a sense of the self, which quickly manifested in their first business venture-- a precious jewelry store on the island of St. Thomas in the US Virgin Islands. Upon return to the US, Debra managed the metro region operations for several fine jewelry franchises, and developed a respected reputation in the industry. Maruka has proven to be the creative release for her limitless vision and talent. Always with a great eye for fashion design and detail, Debra researches and hand selects each designer piece and every natural product on display.
